02.Article 2 — Purpose
These Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms") set out the conditions and modalities for using the WezBook Platform, accessible via the mobile application and/or the website.
WezBook is a SaaS management and booking platform for beauty and wellness professionals (hairdressing, barbering, aesthetics, nails, etc.). It offers as an optional supplement the WezPay module, a cash register software compliant with the requirements of article 286-I-3°bis of the French CGI (inalterability, security, retention, archiving), for recording transactions and payments. WezPay is not available independently and can only be used through the WezBook Platform.
03.Article 3 — Definitions
- Platform : all services offered by WezBook (mobile app, website, API).
- User : any natural person accessing the Platform and using its services.
- Professional : natural or legal person operating a beauty or wellness establishment and subscribing to WezBook.
- End Customer : natural person using the Platform to book services with a Professional.
- Temporary Customer : natural person registered by a Professional without creating a user account.
- WezPay : optional supplement — cash register software compliant with the requirements of article 286-I-3°bis of the French CGI, integrated into the WezBook Platform, allowing the Professional to record sales transactions, issue receipts, manage payments and produce regulatory tax archives. WezPay is not an independent product and can only be used through WezBook.
- Account : personal space created by the User upon registration.
- Content : any information, text, image, review or data published on the Platform.
04.Article 4 — Acceptance of Terms
Use of the Platform implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms. If the User disagrees with any provision, they are invited not to use the Platform.
The Terms may be modified at any time. Any substantial modification will be notified to Users at least 30 days before it takes effect, by email or notification on the Platform. Using the Platform after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. A User who does not accept the changes may delete their Account before they take effect.
05.Article 5 — Access to the Platform
5.1 Public access
Some features are accessible without registration, including:
- Searching for establishments
- Viewing public salon information (address, hours, services, reviews)
5.2 Registered access
Creating an Account is required to:
- Book services
- Leave reviews
- Manage appointment history
- Access Professional features (salon management, WezPay, etc.)
5.3 Availability
WezBook strives to ensure Platform availability 24/7. However, WezBook does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and reserves the right to temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates or in case of force majeure.
06.Article 6 — Registration and User Account
6.1 Registration conditions
To create an Account, the User must:
- Be at least 16 years old (or have legal guardian authorization)
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Have a valid email address
6.2 Information collected at registration
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Password
- Phone number (optional)
6.3 Account security
The User is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials. Any activity from their Account is deemed to have been carried out by them. In case of unauthorized use, the User must inform WezBook immediately.
6.4 Verification
WezBook may require verification of the email address and/or phone number via a 6-digit verification code.
07.Article 7 — Use of the Platform
7.1 User obligations
The User undertakes to:
- Use the Platform in accordance with its intended purpose
- Not publish illegal, defamatory, insulting, discriminatory or offensive content
- Not impersonate a third party
- Not attempt to disrupt the Platform's operation (DDoS, injection, scraping, etc.)
- Not circumvent security measures
- Respect intellectual property rights
7.2 Prohibited behaviors
The following are notably prohibited:
- Using bots, scripts or automated tools to access the Platform
- Collecting personal data of other Users
- Publishing fake reviews
- Using the Platform for unauthorized commercial purposes
- Any attempt at reverse engineering the software
7.3 Sanctions
In case of breach of these Terms, WezBook may:
- Send a warning by email to the User, inviting them to stop the behavior in question
- In the absence of compliance within 15 days, temporarily suspend Account access
- In case of serious or repeated breach, permanently delete the Account after motivated notification
WezBook also reserves the right to:
- Delete any content contrary to the Terms
- Initiate legal proceedings if necessary
In case of suspension or deletion, the User will be informed by email of the reasons for the decision and may submit observations in response.
08.Article 8 — Features for Professionals
8.1 Salon management
The Professional can, via the Platform:
- Create and manage their salon (information, hours, services, prices)
- Manage their team (employees, schedules, availability)
- Manage appointments (booking, cancellation, rescheduling)
- Manage customers (registered and temporary)
- View statistics and analytics
- Send SMS reminders to customers
8.2 WezPay module (optional supplement — cash register software)
WezPay is an optional supplement integrated into WezBook, compliant with the conditions of inalterability, security, retention and archiving set out in 3° bis of I of article 286 of the French General Tax Code (BOI-TVA-DECLA-30-10-30). This compliance is justified by an individual publisher's certificate (no. ATT-WEZPAY-2026-001). It allows the Professional to:
- Record sales transactions (services, products)
- Issue receipts compliant with regulations
- Manage payments via different means (cash, card via terminal, check, etc.)
- Record refunds and credits
- Perform daily cash closures (Z receipts)
- Produce unalterable tax archives
- View complete transaction history
- Trigger payments on connected payment terminals via integrated providers (Stripe, SumUp)
Important notices regarding WezPay:
- WezPay is not available independently: it can only be used through the WezBook Platform
- WezPay guarantees the unalterability, security, preservation and traceability of cash register data in accordance with article 286-I-3°bis of the French CGI
- Cash register data is retained for a minimum of 6 years in accordance with tax obligations
- WezBook does not store end customer banking data (card numbers, CVV) — card payments are processed by PCI-DSS certified third-party providers (Stripe, SumUp)
- WezBook is not a payment institution and does not directly handle funds
- The individual certificate of compliance (no. ATT-WEZPAY-2026-001), issued by WezBook in accordance with article 286-I-3°bis of the French CGI, is available upon request
8.3 Subscription
Access to Professional features is subject to subscription to the "All-in-one" plan. Optional supplements (additional collaborators, WezPay module, custom website, custom domain name) are available. Subscription and supplement conditions are detailed in the Terms of Sale (CGV).
09.Article 9 — WezBook's status as a platform operator
In accordance with articles L.111-7 and L.111-7-2 of the French Consumer Code (Omnibus directive 2019/2161, transposed by the DDADUE law 2022), WezBook informs Users of the following elements.
9.1 Intermediary status
WezBook is an online platform operator within the meaning of article L.111-7 of the French Consumer Code. WezBook connects End Customers with beauty and wellness Professionals.
The service contract (cut, treatment, colouring, etc.) is concluded directly between the End Customer and the Professional. WezBook is not party to this contract and assumes no responsibility for the performance of the service.
9.2 Search result ranking criteria
Salon search results are ranked by default according to the geographical distance between the End Customer's position and the salon's address.
WezBook offers no paid ranking or commercial promotion. No Professional may pay to appear in priority in search results.
9.3 Review verification
WezBook reviews (verified): only End Customers who have actually completed an appointment via the Platform may leave a review. The review is therefore linked to a real and verifiable booking. The publication date of the review is displayed.
Google reviews (not verified by WezBook): reviews from Google Places are displayed for information purposes. WezBook does not verify these reviews, which are subject to Google's terms of use.
9.4 Right of reply and reporting
Professional's right of reply: the Professional may reply publicly to any review left on their page via the Platform.
Reporting an abusive review: any User may report a review they consider contrary to these Terms (insulting, defamatory, discriminatory content, fake reviews, illegal content) by contacting WezBook by email at contact@wezbook.com. WezBook undertakes to examine the report and, where appropriate, to remove the review within a reasonable time. The author of the review will be informed of the removal decision.
10.Article 10 — Features for End Customers
10.1 Booking
The End Customer can:
- Search for salons by location
- View services, prices and availability
- Book appointments online
- Cancel or reschedule appointments (subject to salon conditions)
- Receive SMS and/or email reminders
10.2 Reviews and ratings
The End Customer may leave a review after an appointment, provided that:
- The appointment was completed
- The review is left within 7 days after the appointment
- The review complies with these Terms (no insulting or defamatory content, etc.)
The review includes a rating from 1 to 5 stars and an optional comment (1000 characters maximum).
WezBook reserves the right to moderate or delete any review not complying with these conditions.
11.Article 11 — Communications
11.1 SMS notifications
WezBook may send SMS to Users for:
- Appointment reminders
- Verification codes
The User can manage notification preferences in Account settings.
11.2 Email notifications
WezBook may send emails for:
- Appointment confirmations
- Account-related notifications
- Marketing communications (with prior consent)
The User can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link present in each email or via their Account.
11.3 In-app notifications
WezBook may send in-app notifications to inform Professionals of events related to their salon (new appointments, cancellations, etc.).
12.Article 12 — Intellectual Property
12.1 WezBook's rights
The Platform, its architecture, design, logos, trademarks, and all components are the exclusive property of WezBook or its partners. Any reproduction, representation, modification or exploitation, in whole or in part, is prohibited without prior written authorization.
12.2 User content
The User retains ownership of content published on the Platform. By publishing content, the User grants WezBook a non-exclusive, free, worldwide license for the duration of Platform use, allowing the content to be reproduced, displayed and distributed in the context of Platform operation.
13.Article 13 — Liability
13.1 WezBook's liability
WezBook acts as a technical intermediary between Professionals and End Customers. As such:
- WezBook cannot be held liable for the quality of services provided by Professionals
- WezBook cannot be held liable for information published by Professionals (prices, availability, etc.)
- WezBook cannot be held liable for the direct commercial and financial relationship between Professionals and End Customers (choice of services, dispute resolution between them)
- WezBook does not guarantee permanent availability of the Platform
Regarding the WezPay module, WezBook is responsible for the proper retention, integrity and unalterability of cash register data in accordance with the requirements of article 286-I-3°bis of the French CGI.
13.2 User liability
Each User is responsible for their use of the Platform and the consequences arising therefrom.
14.Article 14 — Personal Data
Personal data processing is detailed in the Privacy Policy, available on the Platform.
15.Article 15 — Hyperlinks
The Platform may contain links to third-party sites. WezBook has no control over these sites and disclaims all liability for their content.
16.Article 16 — Applicable Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by French law.
In case of dispute, the parties shall endeavor to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute shall be brought before the competent courts of [TO BE COMPLETED - Court city].
For consumer End Customers, in accordance with article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, it is possible to use a consumer mediator:

17.Article 17 — Miscellaneous Provisions
17.1 Partial nullity
If one of the clauses of these Terms is declared null, the other clauses remain in force.
17.2 Waiver
The fact that WezBook does not exercise a right provided for in these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
17.3 Entirety
These Terms constitute the entirety of the agreement between the User and WezBook regarding use of the Platform.
